I had dispatched my agents to watch the Manor in the positions you had requested when you and your companions had returned. The first 4 days my agents reported no activity, on the 5th night the one known as Tibor was followed to the edge of the city heading north-west. He was easy to track in the city, but once he made it outside of Ardis my agents lost him. I have contacted agents in Chastel and Morcei to alert you if he is seen there.
On the 6th and 7th days agents reported following the 2 known as Brutus and Father James to several places in the city. The two separated at Our Lady of Lanterns, Father James visiting the church while Brutus entered the White Corner. Brutus managed to lose my agent inside that haunted place, I know I don't need to remind you of the tales about that cursed place. Father James stayed with Our Lady for 2 days and was then reported to return to the manor.
On the night of the 8th day Brutus was followed to the center of town, to the Blindstone where he stayed studying the monument and pacing the length of the square for several hours before heading south to the Merridweigh Gardens. This was the last time I heard from that agent He is now presumed dead although his body has not been recovered. I removed Brutus from our watch list as I could not afford to lose another agent
My agents reported no activity from that day until the disturbance at the ruins of the Galdana manor. We had been watching for the description of the person you had identified as Andrezi Galdana but it seems he was able to elude us. Concerning the fight at the Galdana ruins my agents did their best to not interfere as per our arrangement but they were hard pressed to keep the innocents out of harms way and hamper the efforts of the city's guard.
After these two episodes I have pulled off my agents and I am filing my official report with my superior's as you are reading this. I believe that losing 4 agents over the coarse of this assignment is more than Professor Lorrimer and the Agency had ever expected and should cover the debt the Agency owed.
Good bye Detective and good luck,
M.
