Syf spent 100gp buying a new outfit for the ball. We are expected to show up as "heros" in full adventuring kit. Given our ulterior motives this is fantastic, however, I don't think looking like a bunch of rag pickers is going to do our family our House any good. Therefore, she has bought new, above average clothes. She has also popped for expensive gear; such as enameled and tooled scabards and boots. Armor too has been freshly enameled.
I'm still debating on what to get. On one hand I don't want to be seen as a slave but on the other I don't want to draw more attention to myself than I need to. I'm already a red flag, why create more of a stir?

ReplyDeleteTwo reasons. First, we openly acknowledge you as family, and we deserve some respect. Second, you are sorta like a priest, and deserve a bit of respect for that as well.
